For those of you who may be newer and aren't familiar.  I did a decade long study of NBA

and definitively we try to always avoid lines between 3.5 and 5.5 when we can.  There is a sharp

improvement in ROI if you can get your favorites to -3 or less and your underdogs to +6 or more.  We don't always buy points, but in a scenario like yesterday, laying the -130 to get to -3 saved us in the end.
