Ok everyone we're back....First a word on the Football System we
have been testing:  BAD.    There is no way that system could be
effective without having 150-200 units so for those who wanted
me to test it.  I have seen all I need to and I don't like it. 

Today is Thursday and the start of our NHL System.  We will
post it on this blog all year.  As we constantly analyze the performance
we may make changes along the way but for now we'll be playing
it basic.  Based on the research I've decided to use just a two game
system play style for NHL.  For now, any time we are the DOG we
will be taking +1.5 goals.  In NHL the price can be steep but 1.5
goals is SO MUCH MORE valuable than 1.5 runs in MLB.  Any
overtime game where you have +1.5 you win.  Period.   Believe me...
there are plenty of ties and OT in  NHL.  Away we go.....

NHL 2009 - 2010  (+ / - Units)

Line 1: 10-10-10-10
Line 2: 10-10-10-10

On the game 1 line risk 45 to win 20 on Montreal +1.5 -250
On the game 1 line risk 34 to win 20 on San Jose -170

Well not a bad day yesterday for anyone following.  A nice 3-1
NCAA Football and with a little luck in OT we could have been
4-0 but what can you do???

For NFL we are in Week 2 of our test.  Week 1 we were 5-5
so we wash out and lose a little juice but today hopefully we can make
some headway.   Here are the teams and unit amounts to play....

New England - 2 units

Cleveland - 2 units

Pittsburgh - 2 units

Tampa Bay - 2 units

Detroit - 1 units

Kansas City - 1 units

Tennessee - 1 units

Jacksonville - 1 unit

Green Bay - 1 unit

Seattle - 1 unit

Carolina - 1 units

 

Let's see if week 2 can start to shape this system into

a contender or make it a pretender.

It's Saturday and I'm going to try and point you in the right direction
on a few games on this NCAA Football Card.

The PSIC team has 4 plays today but there are others
that just missed the cut that may be worth paying attention to....

1. UL Laf / Nebraska OVER 54....Nebraska contributes close to 40 here and
ULL gets a couple of scores

2. Wake Forest -2....In a game that seems evenly matched, Wake gets the job done

3. Stanford -8....Washington went from winless last year to ranked?  Not so fast
champ...the cardinals bring Washington back to reality

4. Wake Forest  / BC OVER 40.....Both teams will break out a little on the
offensive side.

I hope that some of these above games can make everyone a few bucks.  Tomorrow
I'll have all the NFL picks and units as I continue to put the NFL system to the test....

Also, NHL starts in just a few days...get your bankroll ready!

Platinum Sports Investing Blog - Monday

Well our NFL plays went 5-5 but that's ok because it's part
of a process.   I'll follow up with next weeks games
and see if this system is going to help us get those lost units
back or if it's going to end up being a bust.  Either
way we'll have it here in black and white!

As for Monday night football...I don't really have any thoughts.  Week
2 is a BIG improvement week in the NFL for some teams and both of
these teams need the improving.   This is one that's better to watch than
to play.

Hello Everyone and welcome to what I hope will be a destination
for those people who want to learn and work their way towards
being a professional sports investor.

In addition to doing the whole NHL season right here we'll also cover
a number of topics and talk about money management as that is
probably the single biggest factor in most of you who've dumped your
bankroll.

As the NHL season progress', everyone will get a real good handle on
how to use the Labourchere while betting to WIN. Each day I'll give an
explanation of and you'll be able to see how the Labourchere lines
change as a result of the previous days action.

Ok, let's get to Football. One of my members at Platinum Sports
Investing wanted me to test this football system to see if it would indeed
be 40-50 units profitable by the 6th week or so of the season. You're
basically trying to win 2 units with every team in the league....I'll detail
it out later but for today....here are the plays and there are a lot of them
so if you are playing just make them $2, $5, or $10 plays and lets see
if this will actually work in the long run.......

New England -3.5
Kansas City -3
Arizona +3
Cincinnati +10.5
Tampa Bay +4.5
Cleveland +3

NY Giants +3

Bet each for 1 unit and let's see where we stand after todays
