I hope all of you were able to find your way to the blog yesterday and catch the updates
as we had a very very nice day.  2-0 on our totals and 2-1 on our sides hitting Toronto
straight up at +200 and going a perfect 5-0 if you were playing totals and pucklines!

I received a lot of email today about basketball and chasing and John Morrison so I want
to address it.   Guys and Gals I dont' know what to tell you.   People ask me if they should
play the game 3 of the chase.  Look, there are going to be losses.  Those of you who
are unfortunately new to John Morrison have to understand that he is a liar about his records.
For many of you who email asking why dont we chase?   Why do we waste our time with
the labourchere.....yet if you follow this blog you have made more units in NHL than anyone
who has been chasing this season AND on top of it with the Columbus (NHL) 30+ unit loss
you have no chance to make even half as much as we will.   The thing you have to understand
is that despite what he, John Morrison, says there WILL be losses.   The average NBA season
has 2 losses.  I know becuase we've been playing it for a long time BEFORE Morrison ever
marketed it.  I have great stats people that I work with and we've gone back a decade before
we ever started playing it.   At 17 units per loss buying 3 points and actually NOW it's going
to cost like 25 units per loss unless you can find someone who will give  you -170.  You have
to figure on 2 losses per season...so 35-50 units lost of about 80.  Still, you'll make 30 units
but if you manage your money better you'll make 50, 60, or 70 units.  Isn't that WORTH
some of the short term shortcomings of a money management method like the labourchere?

At PSIC, we've had a BAD week by any standard but our BAD week is a 6, 7, or maybe 8 unit
loss NOT 20.   NBA is tough this time of year and chasers I hate to tell you but you might lose
the Philadelphia game tonight.   Playing in Portland is no picnic.

I wanted to address this because lately I've been getting a lot of John Morrison emails.  I don't know
him, I don't care to.  I do want the people who follow this blog and my paying members to make
as much money as they can.   Sometimes the difference between winning and losing is NOT how
much you make but how much of your money you PROTECT when things go bad because they will.
Every season for every sport will have that WEEK.  That week where if you're not careful you'll blow
3 months worth of progress chasing down a few games.   Don't be that guy or girl.  Be better than that.
I'm not saying you have to use the labourchere to succeed because you don't.  There are a lot of
good money managment ideas floating around.  Just know that in my 10 years in the casino business
I met a lot of real professional gamblers both casino and sports and in my 10 years since then I don't
believe I've EVER met one that used the martingale.   Eventually there will be losses to be managed
just be smart about it.   Think about the long term.

Oh how the mighty have fallen!   I never thought I'd see the day
where The Greek would no longer offer a 3 pt buy for -170.  It
seems like yesterday when 5 years ago I had a conversation with
a sportsbook owner who laughed at the idea of an NBA system.
"Even if your little east / west thing works, no one would have
the discipline to only play a systematic approach"

Oh how wrong he was.  At Platinum Sports Investing Club we
have been using a systematic approach at nearly all sports with
consistent success.   Now fast forward to today.   In an age where
our country has had a near collapse in it's own financial systems,
many of our wall street minds have turned to sports investing
as a way to make money and have been more than willing to
stick to a "SYSTEM".    These systems have now put a hurt on many
of the offshore books to the the extent that they are changing the
rules mid stream.  So what do you do now?  Well we have to find
sportsbooks that offer us the best options.  I've spent the last
few days trying to find alternatives for everyone.  

There are two sportsbooks that I would recommend right at this

I never thought I would say these words.   One of the best options

1. BET US  For the past several years I've actually
warned against them for their slow payouts but now they have

John Morrison.....you are completely screwed.   You get poor lines
on many of the NBA system plays.   However, if you don't have
an account I would recommend getting one as they still let you buy
3  points at a price of -170.

Bet jamaica are limiting people to 1 point buys, DSI will still allow
2 point buys at -150 which is actually just fine.   Both DSI and BET US

Now on to NHL.  I have magical powers.  Didn't I tell all of you that?
I have this amazing ability to win games that are part of a system that
I decide to skip.  Last NBA season I was 24-0 on games where I told
my clients to skip because injury or whatever.....so what happens
when I pass on Carolina?   They get their first win of the season.

Today we actually have no plays.   Yes Carolina is technically a play but they
are 0-10 on the road and at a certain point in any systematic style of play I think
you have to inject some common sense.  I don't want teams that I just HOPE they
can lose by less than 2.  They very well may win but in MY research, as we go
along I won't play the second half of 6 game or more road trips or really bad road
teams.

Let's take this day off...On another note I think I've worked out my NHL totals
program so I'm going to put that on here as well and we have ONE Game 2 staring today.

What a great day!   Early in the season when we were down close
to 50 units naturally I got a lot of emails of ...why don't you do a 3 game
chase?   Or  why dont we do a third game..... When you research
something as intensely as this you hope that in the end your numbers
will bear out and now we're starting to enjoy some of the simplicity
of the program but I'm happy for all of you who've stuck around.
Days like yesterday make it all worth it!
