Platinum Sports Investing Blog - Monday

Hello Everyone,

First, thank you to those who have donated to the Haitian relief effort.  It is
very much appreciated although I was hoping that all the donations wouldn't
come from PSIC members who have already paid for service.   Don't get me
wrong, everyone should help but the  only people who have thus far have been
PSIC members.

I did get a lot of email from people who are donating through their work etc but
how about the few people who emailed me over the past month with screen shots
showing their 5 figure profits for NHL following this blog?   Think you can spare
a few of those 10,000 dollars for people in need?......or how about this person
and I'm not going to mention names but how about this guy / gal.......

" Tod,

I can't thank you enough for providing this blog.  I have never been a profitable
player because I always played too many games and everyone's picks.  I saw
your blog when it was down over 40 units and people were making fun of the
blog in several forums talking about how the labourchere doesn't work for NHL.
I decided to play because I loved your conviction and the way you talked about
staying the course and how it would all work out so I started playing at that point!
Guess what?  No no one is laughing now.  All the chasers have given back their whole
seasons profits and I'm up more than I've ever made.

I would love to donate but I just can't bring myself to do it.  I just can't pay
for something that everyone is getting for free.  I know I should but I can't.
If you told me tomorrow that the service was no longer free and I had to
join I'd be first in line but as long as it's free for everyone....I can't donate but
I did want to thank you for providing great service....."

Now, how would you all feel when you get that email?  Intentional slap in the
face?   Maybe but ok buddy here you go.   Unless you donate, this blog won't
be free.....how about that?

I would never  do that to all of you good people.   All I'm saying is that if you've
been following along and have been making money it won't kill you to donate a few
bucks to those in need.  Oh and by the way there IS NO RULE that says only
PSIC members can donate.  Just in case anyone was confused about that....:)

Ok, I'm done with that.

Today we have 2 Sides and 2 totals.   You don't have to email me about
other teams that may qualify.  I know but I've chosen to pass on any team
that didn't make it on here.

Tod,

I understand your labourchere method fairly well, however, in the moneyline version, how are you spliting your losses? I was spliting the loss between line 1 and 2, but after a couple of losses, the entire line becomes the same number...

Example.. Loss 30 bucks, split 15 between line 1 and 2, next bet would be 30 again... you see where I'm going.. can you point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
Joe
