AND I've had a lot of requests from people to resume posting on the blog so I will continue to do that. Looking to take sports investing to a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL? Each year I take on 1-2 people for our MENTOR program. The mentor program is an incredible opportunity for those I've chosen over the past 5 years. Let me explain.....
It started seven years ago. One of my long-time members retired to Las Vegas and wanted to make his living expense money by investing in sports. He was already a member but wanted to understand a lot of the how to and was also very interested in spending his time doing some research. He contacted me and offered to pay me $5000 and flew me out to Las Vegas for four consecutive weekends at the start of football season and in return I taught him everything that I knew, and everything that I was looking at for football and basketball
The experience was such a good one really for both of us. I’ve always enjoyed coaching and teaching and he was such a good student really attentive and interested in what was happening. So when I returned home, after that final weekend, I sent an email to my list of clients to ask who would be interested in this type of mentor ship. I established a waiting list. Each year I would offer one or two people on the waiting list the opportunity to go through this mentor program.
The program has changed since then and it is NOT $5000 but the principal remains.
This year, my longest running member Fredrick, was my mentor student. Very sadly, his wife passed away And he has decided to move back to his hometown in Indiana to be closer to family. So in light of the situation, his mentor spot is now open.
So, what exactly is this program? It's probably the most unique opportunity of it's kind. I say that because what you'll be getting....I'm very proud to offer. The mentor email will tell you WHY I decided to pass that particular play. I don't want you to just mechanically look up these things but rather I want you to really understand what to look for and teach you how to get ideas where you find your own great plays as well. The mentor email will also often contain screen shots of exactly what I'm looking at to qualify certain teams to play so it's easy for you to know exactly what to look for
3. All mentors are instantly lifetime members. You'll never have to renew your TeamPSIC membership because a lifetime membership is INCLUDED!
4. Once you take the Mentor spot, I'll create a personal google doc for you. Then with each sport that comes up, I'll add the information as to exactly what we are looking for in each sport right to your google doc. This way, at the end of the year, you'll have a great resource with all the sports laid out for you. In addition to the information for each sport I'll also add some commentary to help explain the WHY behind what we do.
5. Once a mentor, always a mentor student. As I develop new methods moving forward I'll always update your google doc with the latest information and any other criteria for plays that I can develop so together we can always try to stay one step ahead of the bookies.
6. This is one thing I'm most excited about. I haven't really told anyone but I'm in the process of becoming master certified in SDQL language. This will allow me to take my sports handicapping knowledge to a CRAZY level. If you're not familiar with SDQL, it is a sports information data query and this allows you, with the proper language, to enter the sports information data base and test all kinds of theories and almost instantly get RESULTS, W/L record, ROI, ATS % etc. let me give you an example.....

Now notice at the top it gives you the straight up WIN %, the ATS % and ROI, I am a big fan of looking for FADES. Everyone is so obsessed with finding the winner, but finding what loses is just as good. This is a nice little fade I'm working on. Notice the win % of that particular system is only 41.2% Which means if we FADE we hit 58.8%!! A very solid addition to our handicapping weapons.
What does that QUERY mean in English? Conference games in NCAA BB, The home team is at least an 8 point favorite but the total is 134 or less. If you think about it ....makes sense. teams are more likely to cover double digit spreads on high totals so it stands to reason if there aren't a lot of points scored, it will be tougher for a team to gain the type of separation to cover a larger spread game. Also notice how it will list every play for you.
Why did I show you that? Because I'm in the process of taking every one of my methods, refining and creating a DATA query just like the one above and for Mentor students I add it right to your document for that sport. So imagine, once I get all of my methods refined into that language, if you don't feel like manually looking up the possible plays, you can get up in the morning and just plug the query into the box and BAM, any qualifying plays for that method will show right up. It will make a very fast and easy way to check for qualifying plays each day. I'm working very hard on that so that and have a lot of the language to still learn, but that will be worth it's weight in gold!
