Good afternoon Sports investors. Yesterday our one play was a nice winner for the first half but did not get the job done for the full game or the outright win. However, one thing to note, that with just a few days remaining the outright winners have actually surpassed the full game plays as far as profit goes and that's with no money management.

Keep in mind that had we've been doing money management throughout the season we will be up a lot more but these are just flat pics at one unit and all three are profitable

I've done a lot of thinking over the past month. I know there's people who follow this blog. There were more in the past but we had some breaks where I haven't posted but I've always said that I never wanted to post the play that I didn't feel confident was going to win. For those of you do follow one thing you know for sure is that I'm not just throwing out junk free plays.

These NCAA plays would be the exact same ones I would give my paying members. As a matter fact I instructed my members to go to the blog each day to get the NCAA plays that I was going to share them on the blog for free. 

I'm always a little bit surprised that we don't get more members as a result of this blog considering that we are the number one handicapper in NBA basketball and have been since the very first day of NBA. Handicappers Watchdog has given us the honor of best in the first half of NBA.  If I were posting my NCAA basketball plays in the handicappers Watchdog we would probably be the number one service for win percentage in NCAA basketball as well.  As I told you guys the beginning, my recommendation was always to play the first half and I'm not even a little surprised that we're probably going to end the season somewhere about 65% winners.  65% winners in NBA, 65% winners in NCAA means that you've made a lot of money this basketball season if you are a member of platinum Sports investing

The thing I've come to understand is that so many of you have been burned so bad by scamdi-cappers.  So many of these handicapping Services give out a free play of the day with no intention to win they don't care whether it wins or loses.  If it wins they say.....look how good we are, even our FreePlay wins. If it loses they say well what do you expect it's a free play if you want winners you should pay us. So I've come to understand that some people just don't want to deal with a service no matter how black and white I make it for everyone and show everyone that we are different so I have an idea. I think it's fair for everybody

What you're going to see on the blog is there's going to be a donation button. I'm going to accept donations and in return for donations, each sporting season I'm going to post meaningful plays on the blog. I know how many people see the blog on a daily basis I know how many people get the emails and I'm not talking about huge donations but I think if you're a $25 player a 25 or $50 donation for the basketball season is not something unrealistic do you? If you've been playing these NCAA basketball plays, which I know a lot of you do, you have certainly enjoyed profits no matter how you're playing it.

For baseball, I am going to take one of my methodologies and I will post those plays on the blog. They will be the same plays of that method that the paying members would get. Now obviously full members of platinum Sports investing are going to get more, but what I do Post, just like NCAA basketball I will be posting to make money for all of you. Additionally, if I receive a fair amount of donations, I will also post the money management to help you maximize your profits.

Other handicapping services contact me from time to time and tell me to stop posting pics on my blog. That the success of the plays on my blog are affecting their subscribers. I like the blog format. I like to try and help and teach you guys the best ways to make money and I want to offer a way where people who want a relatively inexpensive way to have a shot at making money can do that. I think what I'm proposing is reasonable and fair but we'll see. Other handicappers have told me there's no way anyone's going to donate people are nothing but freebie Hunters. To some degree that has become a little bit true. Many of you feel entitled. you feel entitled because of some of the forums that you deserve to get people's plays for free. I put a lot of work into research and networking to get the place that I produce and I believe those are worth money.

Not a great night for us yesterday has both the first half and the full games we're one win to losses. But don't look now here come the outright winners a very nice plus 465 score yesterday as the outright winners are making a late charge for profitability. 

I think what you'll find is that if you start playing the outright winners on February 1st you will do very well.  Since February 1st the outright wins are 6-12 +10.2 units.

When the season begin for us two things that I knew for sure. First, I was reasonably sure the first half's would outperform anything.  Second, the later the regular season gets the less the more heavily favorite teams care and that means more outright Underdog winners.

It was my goal in putting these plays on the blog to both validate that Team PSIC
Was not only the number one source for winners in the NBA but also college basketball and that the record would be right there in black and white. My second goal is that I always trying to teach people to think differently. Most people who wager on Sports do not have the mental makeup to go 15 and 51 but make six units. It's really difficult to Wade through the losing to realize that in the end you're going to make money but it certainly helps to see it in black and white that it's not all about the game of the week, the game of the month, the game of the year, or any of those other marketing ploys. If you have a good methodology and solid money management this game can be beat.  I haven't even provided any money management advice on these plays we are just flat betting and showing profit.

Typically we don't do Saturdays. Why you ask? Because when I looked over the last few years of data over half of losses happen on Saturday. There's not really a logical explanation for why the favorites do so well on Saturday but I'm also smart enough to realize that I'm perfectly fine taking Saturday off but making money the other 5 or 6 days a week. Having said that I've never really done a full yearly test on first-half including Saturday but I do know that when there's more than 5 qualifying play as it usually does not bode well for us so I will take a look at the lineup for tomorrow if there's a reasonable amount of games I may  post some plays.

Quickly before we get into NCAA basketball I just want to give everyone a TeamPSIC update.  We started the NBA season on top of the rankings at handicappers Watchdog and as we head into the All-Star break we have posted a very impressive 60-32 record. (65%). We're certainly Far and Away better than everyone else who has been playing the entire season. I've even seen a few Services quit, change their name, come back as a new name and still have not been able to get the job done. There are not many services out there who can be at 65% nearly three-quarters of the way into the season. I told our members we were going to have a great NBA season and certainly plan to deliver on that promise.

In NFL we finished in 2nd place overall (62.3%). And those figures don't even account for some of the very nice teasers and middles that we were able to get as extra  profit for members.  Hopefully you'll start to see the pattern . Over 60% in NFL over 60% in NBA .  If you're out there searching for a legitimate company to help you make money, I'd encourage you to look at Platinum Sports investing. You may think you know what we're all about  or maybe you were a member in the past.  I'm here to tell you things are completely different. I have tightened down the criteria  and we are not  at all  about action but we are about playing games with a positive expectation.  Sometimes that means we go 2, 3, or 4 days without a play.  but our members know that when we make a play we have an expectation to win . It is my hope that you'll get to see  and experience  these type of tightened down criteria with our NCAA basketball plays. At the beginning of the year when we started NCAA in January I told everyone I felt like first-half we're going to be the way to go and it is no surprise to me that we are over 60% on our first half so add another sport to the list of documented 60% + winning.  Now on to NCAA

The first half's continue to roll with a perfect 2-0 night yesterday for us.  The full games almost got the job done as Bowling Green collapsed late to lose by 10 but it was still a split.

I'm going to keep playing these NCAA games as long as the games continue to qualify. I feel like we have at least another week and I still think that some of the out right winners are going to hop up this upcoming week. In tracking the outright winning I hope that it shows you guys how important it is to not judge a book by its cover.

With baseball coming up you'll see people say I've got 70% winners. Great but what you're not telling people is that your average play is that - 180 and your 70% winners actually doesn't make any money. In sports investing it should be all about making money. Obviously you need to win some games to do that but I want you guys to open your minds and think differently. If I told you you could go 15 wins and 50 losses in college basketball but you'd make 20 units they're still probably wouldn't be too many guys excited about that they have a hard time getting past the 15 wins versus 50 losses.
Just remember the games don't matter! They are just a vehicle. It's just like putting money into a CD or a stock it just so happens that you're to love investment is a sporting event.

After middling our teasers for the Super Bowl and finishing off NFL football in a strong manner, TeamPSIC returned to Our Winning ways in NBA with a nice outright winner of Boston last night. A pretty good day overall yesterday in college basketball. On the complete games we had one win and one push . On the first half we also had one win and one push. And on the moneyline we had a nice winner which puts us almost back to even on the money lines.

I really hope those of you who are following along with college basketball get a good opportunity to see what Platinum Sports investing is all about. Our win percentage is consistent with what we've done in NBA. The only thing missing on the blog is I haven't really done any money management with these college basketball plays.  Just imagine how much more we could be ahead if you add the element of solid money management. We are ahead just flat betting.

On the TeamPSIC side, we capped off the NFL season with a fantastic set of middling teasers.  The first teaser I gave out for our clients for Superbowl Sunday was

Teaser 1: Atlanta +10 / over 52/ open spot

Knowing that the NFL can be very middle friendly at times, I also recommended a second teaser

Teaser 2: Atlanta +10 / under 66 / open spot

So it worked out perfectly for us . Coming out of the Super Bowl we were alive on both teasers as Atlanta was never in doubt of covering the 10 points on the teaser and with the late rally we dropped the total points right in the middle of our Under and Over so we are alive on both!

Of course the key to that is actually cashing the ticket so we had two open tickets and we needed to close them. We did perfectly last night.

I've often talked about the criteria and how strict the criteria is for us to play our games. The game has to qualify, the team has to qualify, and the line has to qualify. Last night the San Antonio Spurs qualified on the game and team but the line was not a qualifying line. We don't lay 10 and a half points on the road for anyone. However I did feel like it was a perfect game for us to Middle so I recommended our clients do the following to fill in our teasers

Teaser 1: Atlanta +10/over 52/ San Antonio -6

Teaser 2: ATL +10 / under 66/ Philadelphia +16

So as you see, we took both sides of the San Antonio game.  my feeling was the San Antonio would certainly win as they were 20 and 4 on the road. However Popovich is classic for winning but not covering double digits late in the game.  As it turned out the game ended perfectly as San Antonio won by 8 we cashed both teasers. 

When you're betting Sports or using Sports as your investment vehicle, you have to be open to all possibilities. Had we just bet San Antonio minus the 10 and a half we would have lost last night. But by being resourceful and using that game we were able to catch a really nice score and hit both of our teaser from the Super Bowl.

Not a great day in NCAA yesterday.  For the first half we had a loss and a split and overall the first half's are still providing the best win percentage so nothing has really changed for me on that end. The one thing I would say is that if you're someone who has not been playing the money lines this might be a good week to do it as we've had quite a few losses in a row and statistically speaking we are overdue for some outright winners.

An excellent day yesterday. I know there are some people who think they're going to play Eight Games in one day and go 8-0.  I also have some swamp land in Florida that's for sale for a very reasonable price. The reality of sports investing is that 8 games in one day is generally way too much bankroll at risk so when we turn around and go 6 and 2 I'm absolutely thrilled.

For today in NCAA basketball there are two qualifying plays.

I received a few questions wondering why don't I play the more popular college basketball teams. My question to you is do you want to win money or do you just want to bet games that are on TV? Major college sports are just like professional sports everybody has the information the lines are extremely sharp so why would you want to fight sharp lines when we can find games where our team is getting at least seven points and has an advantage in some categories over its opponent? For me it's about making money and I found over the last 5 years that there is money to be made if you stay away from the power 5 conferences. And unlike college football, in basketball there are three hundred plus division one teams.  It's very difficult for Vegas to make good lines on all those games. That's why we will never play favorite the entire year and why we will never play a power 5 conference game the entire year but we will win money.

When we last met on Tuesday Bowling Green had a furious second-half rally to sneak in under the number and get the cover.

Before we get to college sports I just want to take a moment to update you. Seriously, if you are not a member of platinum Sports investing I almost feel bad for you. Are you starting to see the pattern here? It's not one month at 30% one month at 70%. It's consistent! I have taken 12 years to develop a program to eliminate as many of the losing bets as possible and maximize our consistency. If you're tired of the roller coaster and you're looking to actually make money I would get your membership started today.

Patience, Patience, Patience / Drive to 1M update / NCAA

Patience.  Not just a guns and roses song but actually one of the more important elements required to make money at sports investing.  Betting Sports is kind of like going to the track. Just because there's nine races doesn't mean you have to bet all 9 races. 

Often the difference between winning and losing is those extra side bets that you make that just take a little piece of bankroll. But over time that little piece of bank roll over and over turns into a significant percentage.

On this very blog we talked about it last Friday. Patience in the form of staying away from college basketball on Saturday. Now that doesn't mean all of you have to avoid it I'm just saying that my methodology doesn't work on Saturday for whatever reason and Just for kicks I posted a play on Saturday and it lost. It lost by 30 and I wasn't even a little bit surprised. So our record on the blog for college basketball is now 8 and 4. That's really solid.  If we had played on Saturday and Sunday that record would be 10 and 10. That is the quantifiable difference between patience and not patience.

I know there's a lot of you right now who are reading this you are always going to struggle with the same thing. You are signed up with a service that feels the obligation to play games every single day. Look, I understand that because when I first started there were times when I felt that obligation as well. I would get emails from people saying how come we're not playing and you start to think okay well I can find just one game every day. I'm here to tell you that not every day has a game worth playing. Certainly what sports like college basketball, where there is a full menu of options, give you a better chance of finding a game.  However,  that's where other services are going to hook you.   They aren't stupid they know you want to play every day. They also want you to feel like they have the absolute answer every day.

Now certainly it's frustrating too pay for service and feel like you have to handicap the handicapper. I'm not advocating that but what if you happen to sign up for a service who ranks their plays by star number. And they rank these plays anywhere from 10 stars to 50 stars. So over time you notice that the 40 star and 50 star plays have a significantly higher winning percentage than the 10, 20, and 30. Do you have the discipline to say I'm going to pass on everything except for the 40 and 50 star?  That's patience and that will help you grow your bankroll so fast you have no idea. 

At TeamPSIC, I've had to do a self-evaluation on myself and learn that very patience. In our daily email I don't rate the plays but for my own purposes I do and it takes some guts to say I'm not playing anything that doesn't meet our very highest of standards. But the proof is in the results.  48-18 thus far in NBA.  That's less than a play a day but by limiting the number of plays and only playing the strongest it opens up a whole world of money management possibilities that you cannot do if you are playing high volume.

When it comes time to choose who you're going to look for to help you with sports investing I hope you'll choose us and really embrace the idea of using Sports as simply an investment tool and eliminating all the emotional ups and downs. When you invest money in your 401k you don't call your broker every day and micromanage the performance. The whole idea of a 401k is long-term growth. You have to look at sports investing the exact same way. Those of you who freak out every day at your wins and losses or every week. Unfortunately for you the prognosis is not very good because it means you're doing one of two things.

1. You're probably getting way more money than you should I need to play. 

2. Or you're playing with money that you shouldn't be playing with. Remember this should be an investment.

I'm proud to say I'm going to publicly create one of the first groups of sports investing millionaires over the next five years. If you start with $1,000 and double your bankroll 2 times each year in 5 years......1000-2000-4000-8000-16000-32000-64000-128000-256000-512000-**1,024,000**

That is what patience can do!  On 9/11/16 we started with $1000.  That is now $1670.  Let me ask you this , in 5 years if you put a thousand in a 401k will it be a million dollars?  No...not likely.  Let's say we don't double two times each year but at the end of 5 years you had $256,000. You think your 401 k would earn even that much?  Nope.

That's what patience can do.

What if you can only start with 200?  Start with 200.  If you keep your head and follow our program you'll add 3 zeros to the end of that.

Hopefully you've been following along as we have been posting our NCAA Basketball picks absolutely free right here on the blog. Yesterday was a winning day and whenever you have 5 qualifying place in the end you are simply hoping to come out of the day with more money than you started. Of course I know everyone thinks they're going 5 and O but that's not reality. It does happen but overall a positive day.

We have two qualifying plays for NCAA basketball for Friday night. Here is an important note there will be no plays on Saturday. Now I know you're going to say,
With all of those games Saturday how are there no plays? Right? Let me give you a little background. 2 years ago on the handicappers Watchdog I want to say we hit about 60% in NCAA basketball. If you eliminated the Saturday games we had about 75% period last year it may have been the year before we hit about 58% If you eliminate the Saturday games we were about 70%. We do not playing favorites in college basketball it's completely unnecessary to ever lay points ever in that sport. For some reason Saturday is the underdog graveyard. Not necessarily on the big TV games but on the smaller unknown conferences that we focus on it has been an absolute disaster ground for our place I'm talking there are some Saturdays where we would go one and seven and stuff like that we are not going to do that it is totally unnecessary so there will be no plays on Saturday and Sunday isn't much better so don't be surprised if there's not another blog post until Monday.

Final important notes. The entire NCAA basketball season is not going to be for free. To get these plays you are going to have to be a member of our program. That's one more thing to think about when you look at the opportunity to save some money.

Hello everyone and thank you for visiting the Platinum Sports investing blog. How many of you, and let me see a show of hands , have ever been asked to leave a sports book because you wanted something too much?  Probably not many of you who are reading this blog have had that come up but it is standard procedure if any of the offshore Sports books, with the exception of pinnacle, feel like you consistently hit at an average that would be far above a recreational player.

4 most bookmakers they want no part of these type of players but again I said the gentleman that I know is different and I think he's very smart. What he's done is create an operation where he welcomes players who have been kicked out of other sports books because instead of asking them to leave he simply plays the same games. It would seem obvious right? If you can't beat them join them. Now he's not playing every Tom Dick and Harry who might have a winning streak I'm talking about guys who are consistently winning at the kind of rate where Vegas would easily cut you off and believe me Vegas we'll cut you off.

So instead of asking players like this to leave he will reach out to them and guarantee that they'll get paid no matter how much they want to bed as long as they understand that he's going to piggyback their Wagers and call them off to other places. So if he has a job in playing $2,000 a game in NFL and winning 70% of his bets , he's going to take that same game and call it off to another book for $4,000.  I think that's pretty smart. Keep your friends close and keep your enemies closer. So he's letting the other sports book pay off that winner and he's making a little money himself

I get information from this book maker. He passes the games to me that his top players are playing in most sports. Until now this information has only been available to a very very small group of guys who are members of platinum Sports investing. How do these plays do? I will consider the results to be excellent. In NBA the win percentage is very close to TeamPSIC and we are low to mid 60s %.  In Major League Baseball last year these plays made about 40 units and most years these players will make 80 to 100 units in baseball.  Naturally, when you're talking about some of the sharpest players in the world these players are generally going to have a high success rate.

Sports Investors, With NBA and NFL in full swing it is a great time of the year to be a member of Platinum Sports Investing Club (TeamPSIC). We currently sit #1 ranked winning at a 70% clip in NBA and are at 65% in NFL.

Sharp Action Questions, Dog of the Day

Sports Investors,

One of the questions I get a lot is what exactly are "sharp" players.  I think the term sharp it's misused so much mostly by Sports handicappers who wouldn't know a sharp play if it bit them in the face.  "Sharp" players in Las Vegas are simply defined as those that the Sportsbook respect their opinion enough to take notice when they play. There are not a lot of people that these words with managers will take notice if they play.

I think there's also a misconception of what kind of win % sharp players will hit.
Billy Walters is probably considered the sharpest player in Las Vegas and he hits about 56 to 58%. The next time you hear that radio and for some guy who says he has the lock of the year or is hitting 80% winners please , do yourself a favor and run the other way.

Another thing to understand is that sharp Bettors don't always win. In the NHL since the lockout three to four years years ago the sharp players are getting absolutely killed in NHL and many of them don't even play hockey anymore.  That was some people includes myself. I used to do fairly well in hockey but something has changed something in the dynamic has changed and I guess maybe the sharp players aren't necessarily losing but the sharp players are backing the favorites an awful lot more because the favorites are winning and a record clip.  Most of the time the sharpest players will always take points or moneyline advantage. I mean after all if you're going to spend all the hours doing research you want every Advantage you can get so you don't want to lay -130 you want to take + 120.

And the dynamic between the sharp players and the sports books , especially in Vegas, is kind of a love-hate relationship the Sportsbook managers actually like the sharp players because 85% of the time they're taking the very unpopular sign an evening out some of their books. However they always have to guard against a line that's going to drop both groups to have the same side.  The more money the public baths unusually the favorite means the more money the sports books will let the sharp players grab on the opposite side.

In NHL it's not surprising if the sharp players are only hitting 45% of their bets. If you think about it if they're average winner is about + 140 that's still extremely profitable. That's definitely a case where records can be extremely this evening.  You see a lot of misleading things especially in baseball and hockey season wear a handicapping will say he's hitting 70% winners. What he won't tell you is that his average play is at -220 and he's actually losing money at 70% winners. If I told you I'm going to win 50% of my bets and you're going to make a hundred units this year, some people would actually stop at the 50% and think that's not very good but it's all relative to the lines that you get.

Certainly not the best result for us yesterday.  But that will happen from time to time especially when you are playing all dogs for the most part.
