ULTIMATE MLB TOTALS EDITION PRE-SALE

My MLB totals method is 3 pronged

ACTION - I'm not an action junkie, but I know many players are into more action than I provide at times.  There is a profitable version of this with PLENTY of action.  These plays hit 56% (51-40) just playing them with no progression at all.  If you do a 2 game chase on this method, you'd have 51 wins and 11 losses as of yesterday which equates to 51-33(each chase loss is 3 units)  +18 units.  For those of you who really like Chasing, the 3 game chase of the action method is up 46 units (60--2) which equals 60-14 as every 3 game chase loss is approximately 7 units.

PATIENCE - There is a patience version for those who wish to have higher win % but far less plays.  This method has a straight up play win% of 59-60% (25-17)  It can just be played straight, or it can be done in a 2 game chase that is 25-3 this season, which equates to 25-9 overall.  Up 16 units.  Now you aren't up as many units as the action version because of sheer volume, but your 16 units was much more stress free and less streaky

TOD's VERSION - Then finally, there is my preferred version which has produced a 2 game chase record of 25-2 thus far in the season.  It is a hybrid of the Action and Patience versions using only the American League.

Tough day.  Master investors were looking great with Miami +180 until the bullpen got shredded in the 6th.

On the free side, I had the tigers pegged for giving up 3 runs.  They did, but I had them scoring 5 and they only got 1.  In the A.L when you hold a team to 3 or less, that's a good day.  Just didn't work out.  We've been overall pretty poor on our free play for the past 5 weeks.  Football can't come soon enough.  I'd like to try to get the free play back to 20 games over break even by football so we have some time.  Today we have 2 free plays from something I'm testing that looks very promising.

Master investors were off yesterday.  On the FREE side, a nice hit for us.  We were able to sniff that one out.  For Monday, master investors have 2 plays.  On the free side, we are going right back to the well but for different reasons.  In the CWS / Boston game, Boston opened a very cheap -145 at home.  Now the White Sox have their ace going and he's good but the initial money came in strong on Boston.  However, it wasn't sharp money but mostly system players betting Boston at what seems to be a short price.  Therefore we will take advantage of that with the CWS Ace on the hill we will take that +155 as he is a more that acceptable risk at that price

Master investors had a nice win with Milwuakee.  On the free side, San Diego spit the bit.  Today on the free side we are playing the head scratching line move of the week.  Boston opened -180 at some outlets.  NO ONE and I mean NO ONE is betting toronto.  I'm seeing 19% vs 81% on Boston...made a few calls to people in vegas and the ticket counts are 70/30 Boston and money even less.  YET the total has gone up to 10 and the line has dropped to -160.  Whoever bet Toronto early and is part of that 19% is someone CLEARLY respected enough to move a line and make the books beg for more Boston.  It may or may not win in this game but if you bet this scenario many times you'd come out on top for sure and it is 100% worth the risk to grab Toronto at +150

Master investor members were off and there were no qualifying plays.  On the free side, we keep going back and forth.  Win / Loss....However, one thing I would like to make a point about is that this is often how it goes in sports investing.  You'll spend a lot of time hanging around even and then you'll catch a nice 7-10 day run and pick up 10-12% on your bankroll.  Then you'll hang around hang around.  Be patient.  Of all the professionals I've met over the years, the best of the best KNOW HOW TO MANAGE THEIR MENTAL STATE when it gets choppy.  That is very very difficult to do.  We all want to win every day, but if it were that easy, those tall well lit buildings in Nevada wouldn't be there in the desert.

Starting today each game will have an individual bet amount based on various factors.  As always, your book does not give you a -1 line you can create your own minus one line by splitting half of your back on the money line and the other half on the -1 and 1/2 run line.
