Guys I want to thank all of you for your patience I'm very sorry that I have not been able to post on a daily basis. That could not be helped as if I showed you a picture of my right hand you would understand that typing is impossible. So thank you again guys for being so patient.

Yesterday's recap: in a word... Disappointing. Disappointing on the complementary plays side because we did have such a nice Run going in NCAA basketball but probably pushed it one week too far. Typically I would have packed it in but again we were doing so well you just want to squeeze every ounce of success out of a sport that you can get.

Premium plays: it was definitely a different story on the premium plays side. We had a very nice night and I believe our fourth straight winning night as we had the Atlanta Hawks + 10. So close.....

YESTERDAYS RECAP:   On the comp plays side we literally were covering that game for every minute of the game until the very end and the game was over and we pushed.  Certainly a push is better than a loss but that was one that we should have WON.

Another very nice underdog winner!  Illinois Chicago almost pulled off the outright upset!  That brings me to answer another of the frequent questions I get.  Tod, whats  your philosiphy?  

Our philosiphy on TeamPSIC is very simple.  We don't often play favorites, and we NEVER, EVER, EVER lay big juice.  So, for example, in a sport like MLB we will lay up to -150...maybe -160 but that is the tops.  If i like a team that much and they are -165 or more I'm going to play them at -1 or -1.5.   It's not worth it to lay big money because you're just one shitty closer away from winning the whole game then losing.  Speaking of favorites, we hit 63% in NFL documented at the handicappers watchdog, and I think we played 2 favorites ALL YEAR!   People ALWAYS tell me that well Tod, the team is favored for a reason.  You're right, they are favored for a reason.  The reason is that vegas knows most people are suckers and are going to bet emotionally so they make teams favored often by what they KNOW you'll bet.  It has little to do with who's better and that's especially true on tight lined games.  If we do our homework we can find those scenarios where we get points AND have a team with a legit shot to win outright!

COMPLEMENTARY PLAYS:   We had no premium plays last night so nothing to report there.  So on the comp play side I'd love to go with another NCAA basketball game but honestly I'd be just throwing a dart.  Even though this is a comp play, I expect to win just like with our premium plays so we will go to soccer today and actually be forced to lay about as much juice as we are willing to accept.  Our match today is from Ecuador and so there aren't a lot of line options for our underdog and the DRAW is paying too little for us to dutch so we will simply take +.5 a goal.

I've been working with the computer program and we will play which ever line, handicap line or dutch, will give us the best opportunity to make money.  Nothing has changed with the methodology, I've just realized that there are many times when our $100 on the handicap will pay more than splitting on the dog and draw.    We may add something where we split our bet, for example,

Our one soccer game yesterday was a push.  We had the handicap line and the game ended a tie.  That brings up the obvious question of why didn't we play it the normal way and that 2-2 tie would have been a win for us?   That is correct, however, we want to have a positive expectation on the outcome without too much RISK vs REWARD.

Let's look at that match as an example.  Our team was only +145 and the draw +225 so if we risk $60 on the Side and $40 on the draw.  If our side hits it's $87 for the win -$40 for the other half of our dutch and we profit $47.  In this case the Draw hit which would have paid $90 - $60 for our other dutch wager and we'd have made $30.  So to have $100 at risk to make $47 or $30 is not acceptable.  That's like laying a -200 favorite and those of you who ARE members of TEAMPSIC know all well that I'd never do that.  So, by playing the handicap line our expectation is this.....of ever 10 handicap plays our team should win 5, Draw 2, lose 3...and those are worst case scenarios.   We should profit 2-3 units for every 10 handicap plays we have with a much better RISK vs RETURN.

There are no qualifying soccer plays today.  However, I don't want the degenerate gambler in you to go unsatisfied so I've posted some races from Keenland for your gambling pleasure.

A nice win for us in the Turkey League yesterday.
Today we are going to do something a little different.  Normally in matches where there is a weak favorite or no favorite, we will dutch our side and the draw.  However, in our qualifying match today, the payout expectation if our team wins is not sufficient to warrant a dutch.  So, we're going to play them on the handicap line.  On the handicap line, if the game ends a draw then you get a PUSH and don't lose any money.

Our nice run in soccer continued through Saturday as we were a perfect 4-0 cashing in on all of our listed matches!   As I've been tweaking my method it is getting back closer to the 75% strike rate that I like to see.

For those who may be new to our program, I've been using a computer to evaluate every soccer match playing each day to find scenarios where the favorite in the match is vulnerable.  If it meets our minimum payout vs the risk, we go ahead and DUTCH the underdog and DRAW in the match.  Our goal is to cash 75% of our wagers and make a solid profit!  Occasionally we also have some total bests as well.  Each day I lay out the dollars for you based on a $100 risk in each match.

As far as TEAMPSIC, we have relationships with a few books and one specialty book in Costa Rica where we get inside information.  We are able to follow one of the best players at that book and he's posted at 10-5-1 record thus far in football.  If any of you are interested in getting those plays emailed to you, just click the button on the right.  It's just $295 for those plays all the way through the superbowl.
