Hope everyone had a good weekend.  The big fight went about as expected.  Macgregor was definitely a better boxer than many people thought and it was competitive for 6-7 rounds but the gas tank ran dry.  I don't think they should have stopped it but whatever.

In MLB we move ever so close to the wild wild west where teams expand the roster and shitty bullpens get even shittier and decent bullpens get even more inconsistent.  I'm looking forward to see how my late season underdog strategy will hold up.  I suspect fairly well considering the public won't have a clue on most games beyond the starter.

NCAA Football will start for real this weekend.  Yes, it has started but I look at last weekends games as a bit of a tune up.  The football will fly in anger for real this weekend.

About 7 months ago and then about 2 months ago I posted on the blog the TeamPSIC vision to double our bankroll 2 times each year.  In doing this we can all take a relatively small amount of money, say $1000, and turn it into $1,000,000 in 5 years.  No stock fund, 401k, hedge fund, or any other type of investment will match our performance.  Even if we doubled our money just one time per year 

NO OTHER INVESTMENT WOULD MATCH OUR PERFORMANCE.

3. Won't these plays be the same as the TeamPSIC member plays?  In many cases but not exactly.  When I give out plays for my service there are a lot of factors I have to take into consideration. I have to worry about where people live, what time zone they're in , and giving them enough time to make sure they can get the plays in Etc
I have none of those restrictions with the investment fund. So at times there maybe plays that are giving out to our members that for whatever reason I get better information very close to the start of game time and do not play them. Often we have soccer qualifying matches that start at 4 or 5 am and I can not get those out to TeamPSIC members but can play them in the FUND.  There will also be games that I get information after I've sent the email out that I want to act on and I can therefore get those plays in where I don't really have an opportunity to get them out to the members of my service. So I really do feel that the TeamPSIC Fund will outperform the member plays only because of the freedoms it allows me as the fund manager.  THIS IS ACTUALLY THE PERFECT COMPLEMENT TO YOUR TEAMPSIC MEMBERSHIP!

4. Can I sell my stock to a friend?  Sure. However, for security you'll need the authentication number from your stock along with the password to ensure you are the owner of that stock and have the rights to sell.

5. These are some crazy times that we live in.  My father passed on Christmas eve, you all know that, and his passing was not unexpected but much sooner than we all thought.  A few days ago, my Mom was hospitalized with some heart issues.  This WAS very surprising as she is generally speaking in good health.  So I'm at the hosptial and I see the back to back unthinkable tradgedies in Orlando and it really does open your eyes that none of us are promised another day.

Some of you have been with me for 12 years now.  WOW.  We've had a lot of ups, some downs, and some laughs along the way.  If something were to happen to me I've always wanted to make sure that my team could continue to win.  

Over the years I've written several ebooks.  The last one, people were interested in but I got the same question about 10 times.  "Does it detail your NFL?"....my response was always..well NO, and then most of you were not so interested and usually said something like...well let me know when you add ALL of your info and I'd be interested.  "Does it Detail your soccer info?"  ...well NO.  ok let me know when your book has the soccer....

TeamPSIC Blog Saturday 5/21/16

Ok so 6 weeks into the MLB season what do we know?  The Cubs are good.  It's an even year so that means the Giants are good.....Washington pretty good.  However, there is a real chaos when it comes to the American league.   We think we might know who's good but CRAZY things continue to happen.   Seattle sits a top the AL West but last week was swept at home.  The amount of times some of these teams have been swept is crazy.  Additionally, it's very very rare to see a team get swept and then sweep their next opponent or vice versa.  Get swept by someone, home or road, and turn around and sweep their next opponent.  Those type things have been regular place in the AL this year.  It has made some very choppy results to this point but it should make a real interesting September as there will be many teams fighting for playoff spots

On the horse racing front, that has been much more consistent and blog followers have enjoyed some nice winners last week.   We will continue posting some horses here on the blog.

A very nice day all the way around.  In MLB our Ultimate MLB method 2 was an easy winner and in horses you got a real example of what is great about horse racing.  We had one small winner but we hit an exacta that paid $58 for a $2 exacta which made the ponies very profitable.

On the PREMIUM PLAYS side we had a solid 2-0 day in MLB and caught a $25 winner at Golden Gate for Horses so it was a real good day overall for everyone.

Welcome Back MLB!

It is that time of year again!   Along with NBA baskets it is certainly one of the TeamPSIC best sports to play!  As I've said in the past a lot of people don't like MLB and I could understand why.  If you're going to lay chalk all summer you're in trouble because it usually ends poorly for you.

So for our Premium Plays players we have some solid methodology this summer.  On the Blog we are going to post plays from an older but tried and true methodology called my Value System.   It's not a system at all but its a scoring method to find the best value on the board.  Sometimes the plays posted here will be part of the premium plays as there is some crossover in requirements, but make sure to tell your friends that they better get their email address put in on this blog page so they don't miss a single play.  So far our Complementary Blog followers have banked over $2800 in profits since November.  Not to shabby.  My goal is to have blog followers over $8000 in profit by August 15th.  A tall order but it CAN BE DONE!!!

We did it!  A very nice milestone.  We've crossed the $2500 earned mark on our Complementary Selections right here on the blog for those of you following along!  Congratulations to everyone!  Whoever said you get what you pay for didn't obviously visit our blog....LOL

PREMIUM PLAYS RECAP:  Last night there were no qualifying premium plays so we had the night off.  I often get the question.  "How do you decide what is the complementary play of the day?"   It is the highest rated play that missed the cut for premium plays.  So for example lets say my play board looks like this

The top 3 plays, in this scenario, would be given to the premium plays members.  Then "Play D" would be the complementary play as it was close to qualifying but didn't quite make the grade

A nice Saturday for us as we were 3-1 overall. Let's keep our weekend roll going, here are Sundays plays.

I've been working with the computer program and we will play which ever line, handicap line or dutch, will give us the best opportunity to make money.  Nothing has changed with the methodology, I've just realized that there are many times when our $100 on the handicap will pay more than splitting on the dog and draw.    We may add something where we split our bet, for example,
$75 on TEAM A PK -110 handicap and $25 on Draw +250...that way on a draw we push our handicap bet and still make profit on our draw bet.  We will work all the angles to make the most money possible.

TEAMPSIC Blog 10/13/15 Why Does God Hate Me?

When we think about life as a sports investor and you ponder your existence, you come up with some of the burning questions of life.   Are we alone?  Who really shot JFK? When in the hell will the Kardashians just go away?   But the real question I ask is Why god, why do you hate me?

I've always maintained that God doesn't have time to be involved in sporting matches but as of yesterday I've come to the conclusion that not only does he hate me, but he's taunting me on top if it just to spite me.

Why?  I present you the evidence.

I am a Chicago native.  I hate the Cubs.  Yes I said it....I freely admit it and I'm certainly in the minority of Chicago folk but I hate, loathe, despise the Chicago Cubs.  I'm a life long White Sox fan and for the past decade I could at least revel in the fact that my beloved White Sox won it all in 2005. That was 10 years ago.  Hard to believe....but Houston, we have a problem.

I acknowledge that the White Sox have been a dumpster fire since that world series.  I admit a LOT of jealousy when the Cubs went out and snatched the best GM in all of MLB.  I said UH-OH the day Theo was hired because I knew he would build it the right way, from the ground up in the minor leagues.  But still, the right way would mean YEARS of being god awful bad.  The cubs have been god awful bad for the past few years.  However, when you LOAD up your minor leagues with talent, and then bring in the BEST MANAGER in MLB to go with the BEST GM, now we have trouble because the Cubs are unfortunately ahead of schedule and good.

Maybe my prayers are too specific.  Like when I said..."God, I know you've apparently decided to make Jake Arietta completely un hittable, but if you could find your way to let the Cubs loose and have St Louis throw an 81 pitch perfect game against them that would be great!"   I don't just want to Cubs to lose but I prefer if they get completely embarrassed.   So how did god answer my prayer?   He lets ole Jake give up more runs in one game than his whole second half of the season practically but the MF ing Cubs won.   Now with a 2-1 lead and apparently so young, dumb, and led by a great manager that their youth is not afraid of the moment......I fear that the Cubs will make it to the NLCS.

If they get there, that's big trouble.  Because then it's my one prayer, every hour, vs the 30 billion prayers of all you sick bastard Cub fans who want the curse of the Billy Goat to be a thing of the past.  I'm not ready for that.  I mean what would the 35000 losers that don't have a job do at Wrigley during day games if they win it?  Would they then actually know the score of the game?  Would they all of a sudden pay attention?  Or would they still just go there to sunbathe?

LEE ELIA SAID IT BEST!    You're welcome everyone.

God, I don't want to be endowed with your powers, I mean we all saw what happened to Jim Carrey when he was god, I just want the Cubs to lose the next two games.  Is that so much to ask?  I'll even give up my dream of having them 81 pitch perfect gamed.  Just a good ole fashion 10-0 loss would be great.  If you can't find your way to do that and you're going to make me pay for every sin a million times over by having the Cubs be good, can you at least end these EURO games so we can get back to playing soccer already?
