TEAMPSIC Blog 10/13/15 Why Does God Hate Me?
Sports Investors,
When we think about life as a sports investor and you ponder your existence, you come up with some of the burning questions of life. Are we alone? Who really shot JFK? When in the hell will the Kardashians just go away? But the real question I ask is Why god, why do you hate me?
I've always maintained that God doesn't have time to be involved in sporting matches but as of yesterday I've come to the conclusion that not only does he hate me, but he's taunting me on top if it just to spite me.
Why? I present you the evidence.
I am a Chicago native. I hate the Cubs. Yes I said it....I freely admit it and I'm certainly in the minority of Chicago folk but I hate, loathe, despise the Chicago Cubs. I'm a life long White Sox fan and for the past decade I could at least revel in the fact that my beloved White Sox won it all in 2005. That was 10 years ago. Hard to believe....but Houston, we have a problem.
I acknowledge that the White Sox have been a dumpster fire since that world series. I admit a LOT of jealousy when the Cubs went out and snatched the best GM in all of MLB. I said UH-OH the day Theo was hired because I knew he would build it the right way, from the ground up in the minor leagues. But still, the right way would mean YEARS of being god awful bad. The cubs have been god awful bad for the past few years. However, when you LOAD up your minor leagues with talent, and then bring in the BEST MANAGER in MLB to go with the BEST GM, now we have trouble because the Cubs are unfortunately ahead of schedule and good.
Maybe my prayers are too specific. Like when I said..."God, I know you've apparently decided to make Jake Arietta completely un hittable, but if you could find your way to let the Cubs loose and have St Louis throw an 81 pitch perfect game against them that would be great!" I don't just want to Cubs to lose but I prefer if they get completely embarrassed. So how did god answer my prayer? He lets ole Jake give up more runs in one game than his whole second half of the season practically but the MF ing Cubs won. Now with a 2-1 lead and apparently so young, dumb, and led by a great manager that their youth is not afraid of the moment......I fear that the Cubs will make it to the NLCS.
If they get there, that's big trouble. Because then it's my one prayer, every hour, vs the 30 billion prayers of all you sick bastard Cub fans who want the curse of the Billy Goat to be a thing of the past. I'm not ready for that. I mean what would the 35000 losers that don't have a job do at Wrigley during day games if they win it? Would they then actually know the score of the game? Would they all of a sudden pay attention? Or would they still just go there to sunbathe?

God, I don't want to be endowed with your powers, I mean we all saw what happened to Jim Carrey when he was god, I just want the Cubs to lose the next two games. Is that so much to ask? I'll even give up my dream of having them 81 pitch perfect gamed. Just a good ole fashion 10-0 loss would be great. If you can't find your way to do that and you're going to make me pay for every sin a million times over by having the Cubs be good, can you at least end these EURO games so we can get back to playing soccer already?

TEAMPSIC Blog 10/12/15
Sports Investors,
Well unfortunately while all of the "EURO" matches are going, that means downtime for us as far as soccer goes. It looks like many of the leagues start up this week so we will be back on the hunt. Our last play, Friday, was a nice easy win.
On the subject of TEAMPSIC, as of last week we had earned the #1 slot for the last 30 days at Handicappers Watchdog in terms of ROI and firmly planted in the top 5 for overall performance so congrats to our members. This past weekend was a wash for us. NCAA we were 2-2, NHL started for us Saturday and we were 2-1, however, for the first time we had a losing weekend in NFL going 1-2. An easy win with Arizona, but a tough loss with Oakland as we got +5.5 early in the week and they lost by 6 and the Rams ran up and down the field all day and did everything but score. If you'd have told me that they would hold Green Bay to 24 AND we were getting +10, which we grabbed on Tuesday, I'd have thought it was a sure win. Nothing is sure but still overall we are 16-8 in NFL!

TEAMPSIC Blog Tuesday 9/29/15
Sports Investors,
Week 2 in the NFL is often OVERREACTION sunday where all the bettors typically get crushed and I certainly saw a lot of that on twitter. At TEAMPSIC we were prepared for that and snatched up all the value and went a cool 4-1. After week 3 we now start to see the picture of how the NFL is shaping up.
1. Pissed off Tom Brady is always hard to beat
2. Arizona was my number 1 ranked team before the season started and they've done nothing to change that.
3. New Orleans is toast because they just can't stop people
4. Still don't buy into Carolina. Need to see them play a top 5 team.
5. Atlanta's new coach has the defense playing all out every snap. Should be some value there.
Ok, so on to soccer....a nice day for us on Monday as both of our matches cashed in.

TEAMPSIC Blog Tuesday 9/15/15
Sports investors,
A tough day for us on the soccer fields as our underdog was nipped 1-0. That lost sets us back a little bit but we are still in positive territory.
As for TEAMPSIC, we enjoyed a day off yesterday and were simply spectators for the Monday night affairs.
So today's start week two of the NFL football season and I'll be back later in the week to share so my thoughts about how people will overreact to the lines in week 2. It is always one of the biggest trap weeks of the year. I'll give you a perfect example. Tennessee opens up the season and destroys Tampa Bay. Cleveland opens the season and looks terrible against the New York Jets. Cleveland is at home and is -2 1/2. For the most part everyone feels like this is a Christmas gift and can't wait to bet Tennessee but I'm here to say not so fast and will get into that later in the week
As for today we have no qualifying soccer players so we will see you back here tomorrow.

An excellent start to our soccer program.
It felt real good is that reminded me of how things went for us when we were making 100+ units per year.
Here is a recap of yesterday's plays. Our dollar values are based on a $100 Dutch that will make it easy for numbers purposes and is a very common bet amount for many of the people who follow this blog.
Finland - Jaro +300 / Draw +250. WIN +$92.50
Italy - Capri +450 / Draw +250 WIN +$127.50
Argentina - Gimnasia +260 / Draw +240 WIN + $92.50
So if you look above we Dutch our underdog with the draw and the dollar amounts represent the profit in each match as our draw wager won all three.
As for NFL... It was an excellent day for platinum sports investing members as we were three and one picking up wins with St. Louis, San Diego, and the New York Giants. Our only defeat was the Chicago Bears, whom we locked in early in the week at +7 1/2, and they lost by 8.
Overall between soccer and football it was a fantastic 6-1 Sunday. If you didn't have a great Sunday betting football or a great weekend, no need to panic because there are still some spots available at platinum sports investing club so get your spot today.

I hope you're all enjoying the start of the football seasons! I know I've been looking forward to it for quite some time. In this early season, TEAMPSIC has already experienced the great exhilaration of
getting a touchdown with 2 seconds left to grab a victory by the hook and a HORRIBLE beat yesterday with Tennessee in NCAA. I've never seen a team DOMINATE the way they did for the entire game and blow it in the last 5 minutes. A VERY tough beat. But, that's part of the game.
3 years ago, I created a soccer program that was netting us 100+ units of profit per season. It was based on a computer program that was co created by myself and some lads from down under. Well needless to say when they found out that I had discovered a more profitable way to use the software than it was originally created, they thought that it would be better to try and extort me for $20,000 for updates rather than work with me and make a lot of money.
So soccer has been in hibernation for almost 2 years now but I've been working on some things and I think I may have finally "put the band back together" in a blues brothers sense.
The TEAMPSIC soccer program was unique because I found that we could isolate matches with a weak favorite and we would DUTCH the DOG and the DRAW. It was very profitable. Often running strings of 20 straight cashes.....some at +400, +500, and I think our biggest was hitting a +750 underdog. So, now I'm in testing phase and I'm going to post these on the blog and lets see where it goes.

So yesterday was a great example of how we can profit from basball LUNACY. Our 1st 5 inning bet on Justin Verlander was about as easy a +140 as you can ever cash.
In case no one realizes....NCAA football starts TOMORROW!!!!
So on the day yesterday, TEAMPSIC had a winning night going 2-1-1 and our play on the blog was an easy win so everyone made some profit.
For today there is another MLB lunacy play.
TEAMPSIC Comp Play of the Day (4-3) +1.2
Philadelphia Phillies +250 1st 5 innings - I mean, who's going to bet on Philly if we dont? I know Matt Harvey is pitching. So what, he's not worth -275 and the guy opposite him, Aaron Nola, has a solid ERA, an EXCELLENT WHIP and the Phillies are scoring runs these days. We don't need a lot of runs, just a nice old 2-1 win at the end of 5 innings will do. I'll take a guy with a 0.85 WHIP in his last 3 and +250 ALL DAY LONG!!! So in the September game of Risk / Reward our 1st 5 innings bet today is well worth the risk.

Playing in Baseball Lunacy 9/1915

It's September 1st. Before I get to baseball lunacy I want to tell you a story. I haven't been able to blog every day because I'm doing something that everyone of you has or will have to deal with and that is a sick parent.
All my life I've been a "fighter" so to speak. I took limited size and talent to minor league baseball and who knows what would have happened had I not hurt my arm? I always wanted to be the best. In the casino business, I wanted to and was one of the best as a dealer, supervisor, pit supervisor....sports book....etc. When I decided to leave all that behind because I was confident I could make my living playing the sports and helping others...I wanted to create something different. I didnt' want people to call into some BS 800 number and get sold. I wanted to put together a group of people who wanted to treat sports like an investment....you always strive to be the best.
So, these past few weeks as I enjoy, what has been told to my by the "best" in the field of medicine, the final times that I'll get to spend with my father it really made me think about life and my children and my children's children. So while sitting at the hospital and the doctors offices I started journaling. Just making notes about each sport and what I think is the absolute best way to attack that sport from a betting perspective. Then the notes started turning into more of a book.
Then I tried to think of everything I've tested in each sport, how I tested, and what I knew to work....and not work so well. Ever since I was in grade school I've had a passion for writing and reading. I read a ton of things every day. Like many of you....if you want to be the best in your field you have to try to stay two steps ahead of the curve.
So, out of what has been a very sad experience, I thought a lot about my own mortality and "what about my clients if something happened to me?" Many of you who read the blog are not clients of Platinum Sports Investing Club so you may not understand what I'm about to say because your only experience in this business has been.....well.....with A-holes. The thing is I am proud to say that I'm friends with many of my clients. Maybe not in the sense that we hang out every day because they are in many other places around the world but I know their voice on the phone and I genuinely care about their well being. Its a blessing and a curse.
Out of my personal difficult experience, I've created a book. It's something that those of you who may be interested can get and that way no matter what, you'll always have a very very solid starting point and a way to make money investing in sports. What started as notes that I'd leave for my son should something ever happen to me, has become the TEAMPSIC Guide To Sports Investing.
I'm very proud of what it has become. I've written books before but this is definitely the most comprehensive and the best of my work. Anyone who is interested simply email me. I don't know what the investment will be for it. It won't be crazy. It won't be $50 either. But if you're interested email me and in the next day or two I can get you the details. The one thing I'm sure of is that it will be worth EVERY PENNY and 50 times more! Thanks for your time and the time you spend reading this blog!
NOW.....BASEBALL LUNACY.
Why is it baseball lunacy? Because teams that should be -150 but have a sniff of playoff contention are now -220. The good teams get stupid lines and the underdogs are way way over valued....I mean some of them are WAY over valued.......Then you add in......minor league call ups. I hate minor league call ups and especially in the bullpen.
Some bad teams will improve and cash for us at +200, +300 because of those minor leaguers. Some good team, that's in the playoff hunt, will free fall collapse and take ALL OF YOUR MONEY with them. Historically, a team or two will get hot and get in, a team, kinda like what the Angels look like....where they were on the verge and now Tom Petty "Freeeeee Fallllin" is playing because they can't buy a win.
This time of year is fairly tailor made for 1st five innings. Take the bullpens out of play and try to hunt for some values.
Oh, by the way, FOOTBALL STARTS THIS WEEK!!!!!!

I needed yesterday off as I have some things going on where it couldn't be helped. When we last met, our Comp Play of the day was a nice underdog winner in Arizona....we took +1 run but didn't need it.

Platinum Sports Investing Blog 8/17/15
Sports Investors,
TEAMPSIC we ended up with a split on Sunday and finished the week 8-6. Since we play low juice games we mad a small profit but none the less it's the 3rd straight week in the PLUS column. We go for 4 in a row starting today! That's what its all about. Just trying to put weeks together on the PLUS side of the ledger.
On the Comp side, our over didn't come in and wasn't close so we didn't have to sweat it. Our horses we had a small winner but overall ended up a small loss at Fort Erie. The Horses For Life Paying members did end up in the BLACK yesterday courtesy of a 19-1 winner in the 3rd at Delmar. I'm really excited about the week we're going to have in both sports and horses so don't forget to secure your spot with football just a few weeks away.

Well its been a good week for teampsic but yesterday was not so hot. I tell you when we win and ill tell you when we dont and yesterday we were 0-2. Still 7-5 on the week but we will look to todays games to make it a positive week.
On the free side, Arizona was an easy winner. As for the horses, no luck at arlington.

Hello everyone. Let's get right to business. A week ago I offered those who weren't members of TEAMPSIC a discounted price to both save some money and make a LOT of money. Since that offer, TEAMPSIC has gone a cool 7-3 as we're posting another positive week in the books. Football is almost here and had you joined a week ago that bankroll would be getting padding for the great football run we're going to have.
If you're interested email me. If you miss your chance I'm sorry for you misfortune. On the horses side, I tweeted out a few exactas and we nearly scored BIG on the final race at Delmar as our 20-1 came rushing up late to get third....it was 6 furlongs, had it been 6.5, he's the winner.
Overall most things are going well. So lets get down to brass tax on some comp plays. With the Arlington Million running on Saturday, that means lots of Amateur money in the pools so what I'm going to do is pick a few horses in each race at Arlington and you can roll the daily doubles or pick 3's and maybe we'll hit a BIG ONE. Platinum Sports Investing Blog 8.13.15
Sports investors,
The positive....we hit an $18 winner at indiana and had about an even night.
The negative... in testing, the MLB value methodology is about 55 percent and has a really nice ROI, however, we can't get out of her own way since I started posting on this blog and last night was just the culmination a horrible luck but we did get to witness a no hitter. Unfortunately it was the other team. I think I'm going to hold off on posting those plays and go more to a complimentary play in the day.
Typically when Ive posted the complementary Play of the Day on the blog, it is the play that just missed the cut for our paying members.
So we will continue in that direction and I will continue providing a complementary track each day.

Platinum Sports Investing Blog 8/12/15

Let's start with the Positive. TEAM PSIC paying members had another positive day as we were 2-1 last night so 4-1 on the week.
On the blog side, we managed to do the near impossible. We lost our 4th and 5th game this week in the 9th inning or extra innings. Not easy to have the lead or tie going into the 9th and consistently lose but my Value selections have done exactly that. It's frustrating but still a loss. Lets look on the bright side.....maybe we've created another value system......Every play I list, go on live play and fade that team for the 9th inning....we'd be GOLD....lol
As for horses, no luck yesterday for us. Indy has been a good track for us but not yesterday.
Our best opportunity was in the 3rd when our BIG ODDS #8 ran second and paid 13.80 to place...maybe next time.
Before we get to todays comp plays, just another day or two on the pre season special of $395

Platinum Sports Investing Blog 8.10.15
Sports Investors,
It is Monday and this week the NFL pre-season kicks in to full swing after the Hall of Fame game last night. It's always good to see the NFL back regardless of how meaningless the games are!
For us, we continue on as there is plenty of MLB to make money on. There are plenty of places to find value and that's what we are after...the "GAME" this time of year is to guess who will flourish and who will flop. I see the nationals as a disappointment and wish I could have pulled the trigger yesterday on Colorado at +245 because I liked that matchup. Having the crystal ball is one part of the equasion and then having the brass balls is the other part. You'll play some ugly teams but even the ugly team can get hot when there is nothing to play for so something for us to keep our eye on.
I wish we had something today, but there are no MLB value plays that qualify,

Platinum Sports Investing Blog 8.7.15
Hello sports investors,
Well yesterday was certainly a lesson in not to get overly aggressive. Generally speaking the value model I've been creating would have called for us to take the +1 run line on some of those underdogs and it would have saved us on 2 of the three. I was feeling very confident and thought the money lines were the more aggressive but better play and it certainly cost us. However, on the flip side, when you're playing mostly dogs if you hit just 50 percent you're going to make a lot of money.
On the horse side this is the last chance to grab a spot.

Platinum Sports Investing Blog 8/6
Hello sports investors,
After a few days away we do have a few value plays today and I realize I've missed the cutoff for the email. I will send out a notification on Twitter for those of you who are following along but some of you may not get this until tomorrow.
As far as @tesmpsic, we were 4-2 lasr week and stand 4-4-1 heading into the weekend so we have a great chance to have another winninf week. Will get a little bit more into that tomorrow but for today let's go ahead and get these value plays up and running.

Day 1 of the Value method testing was looking a lot like it would be 2-0 with a suspended game until San Francisco's relief pitchers came to the mound with a gas can and matches. They snatched defeat from the jaws of a 6-0 lead. Pretty impressive. All the more reason why we, at TEAMPSIC, do not believe in laying big odds because quite frankly, none of the bullpens are worth it.
On the horse side, I didn't have much of a chance to tweet but the Horses For Life selections for Monday 8/3 yielded a $22 and a $70 winner at Saratoga. So those of you interested in horses, there are still 3 spots left in the Horses For Life program so first come first serve...email me if you're interested.
For Tuesday, just one qualifying MLB game on the Value Method.

Last week for Team PSIC was profitable at 4-2. We are looking to build on that this week and pick up 5-10 units.
On the horse side, we had some good things go on late saturday night but yesterday was a mess until the very end. We will right that ship starting today.
For a few more days I'm going to tweet out some of the Horses For Life advise especially since we did some major corrections yesterday afternoon on our data so look for that if you enjoy the ponies.
I always like to call August, over reaction month. Lets look at Toronto / Minnesota. I mean David Price is good but 0-2 in his last 3. Now, having said that he does have the best lineup. but at -250? Really? I'm very tempted to take Minnesota except the books rob quite a bit of the value out of the dog in that scenario giving you only +200 at many places.
Speaking of value, I promised I'd start the launch of my value program testing and I'll be posting those plays right here on the blog. You can play if you'd like or just follow along. Once I get something nailed down it then becomes part of the @TEAMPSIC program.
